Yoga came into Rose's life in 2006 and with a background already deeply rooted in the healing arts, yoga blended in seamlessly. Rose followed her love of yoga and completed a 500 hour certified yoga teacher training program at Yoga Vermont, which changed her life forever. This was followed by an additional 200 hours of training in India. She is an E-RYT500 instructor with Yoga Alliance in the areas of Vinyasa, Flow, Yin, Ashtanga & Hatha Yoga. Having completed an additional training of 85 hours in Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, this has enhanced her skill-set to offer even more to her community as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). Rose combines her areas of expertise in holistic wellness to offer a unique opportunity for yoga students to explore and expand their practice, including pranayama, meditation, aromatherapy, yogic as well as Ayurvedic principles. Rose leads classes which focus on movement with breath and mind-body connection as a vehicle to bring overall wellbeing, leaving one feeling grounded and at ease.
Her comprehensive curriculum that promotes personal study, balanced living, and boundless growth integrates her formal training with her own self-study into a positive and compassionate teaching style. Her yoga classes are tailored to fit the needs of each and every student, emphasizing that there are many paths up the mountain to the same goal. Her classes are strenuous, yet graceful and gentle as she blends Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga with breath and body movement with alignment and an element of mindfulness. Everyone is operating at the level of consciousness which serves them in each particular moment. Recognizing this, her approach is to hold a space which inspires, enhances and honors each individual's journey and experience.
