The perfect place to truly relax, rejuvenate, meditate, connect with nature and journey inwards. Meet like-minded yogis and friends and take time for your own self-care, reflection and renewal. We’ll be retreat’ing and connecting with nature at a unique and secluded retreat center in nature, and sleeping in gorgeous, comfortable Tipis (with beds, linens and furnishings!), taking glamping to the next level. For a more traditional sleeping experience, there are a limited number of indoor rooms available. All tipis and rooms have access to a centrally located bath house with two full bathrooms. The indoor studio and master bedroom have private bathrooms. There are plenty of blankets in the tipis for extra warmth. Each tipi and room have power outlets for lights and devices. That can be sent by signing up for this retreat at summerfry.com WHAT TO BRING Yoga mat, optional props (blocks, bolster, blanket, strap), comfortable clothes for yoga, meaningful item(s) for alter (healing crystal, spiritual symbol), outdoor shoes for walking around the property, water bottle, flashlight/headlamp (although there are lights on the paths around the property and inside the tipis), bathing suit for hot tub and swimming hole, jacket for cool evenings, eye mask or small hand towel to cover eyes during guided meditations and savasana. Bring your own snacks since lunches will not be provided and there is no store nearby. There is a refrigerator on-site that you can use for perishables and a cupboard for snacks etc. Food is not recommended to be kept in your dwellings due to the fact that we will be in the forest and there are potential pests. Will be provided: Shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided in bathrooms. Not Permitted: Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the property. The only animals that are allowed are certified service animals, accompanied by a person with a disability. YOUR FACILITATORS & CONTACT INFO Rose Bryant Yoga came into Rose’s life in 2006 and with a background already deeply rooted in the healing arts, yoga blended in seamlessly. Rose followed her love of yoga and completed a 500 hour certified yoga teacher training program at Yoga Vermont, which changed her life forever. This was followed by an additional 200 hours of training in India. She is an E-RYT500 instructor with Yoga Alliance in the areas of Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga, Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Having completed an additional training of 85 hours in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, this has enhanced her skill-set to offer even more to her community as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). Rose has led yoga retreats domestically and internationally. She combines her areas of expertise in holistic wellness to offer a unique opportunity for yoga students to explore and expand their practice, including pranayama, meditation, aromatherapy, yogic as well as Ayurvedic principles. Rose leads classes which focus on movement with breath and mind-body connection as a vehicle to bring overall wellbeing, leaving one feeling grounded and at ease. With a background in classical dance training and theater, she has a strong sense of the intricacies of alignment and movement structures as well as how powerful movement can be when done with intention. The mind-body connection fascinates her and she has been on a journey of discovery since 2016 when she completed her 200 hour yoga certification in 2016 with Sola School of Contemplative Arts. Summer has been leading yoga and mindfulness retreats for several years and hopes to continue to do so as she embarks on her latest journey of training as a clinical mental health counselor.
